Kairanga ITT Results 15.08.21
Thank you to the team at Manawatu Schools Cycling, and their volunteers for running a great Kairanga ITT and allowing our riders to join in on one of your championship events.
Results are as follows
Bike Manawatu had a strong presence at the Kapiti Cycling Cub’s Tineli Winter Series. We had up to 12 riders take part in various races within the series, with a core group of Chris Harris in A Grade, Mike Dunne, Rob Ryan and Darren Murdie in B Grade and Wayne Fage in C Grade that showed up to all 4 events.
It is a 4 week series that is run through July and August each year over a relatively flat course leaving from the Te Horo Hall with distances of 60kms and 40kms.
It was a lot of fun for all of those who attended, and fantastic to see so many green Bike Manawatu Jerseys in the peloton.
Well done to everyone who raced, and thank you to Kapiti Cycling club for running the series – we’ll be back next year
