On Friday night Sport Manawatu hosted the Central Energy Trust Manawatu Sports Awards
We at Bike Manawatu are super proud of all our athletes, and big congratulations goes out to all the finalists and winners.

ANZ Junior Sportsman of the year: Campbell Stewart

Churchyard Physiotherapy Junior Sportswoman of the year: Michaela Drummond

Plus: NEW LEGENDS OF SPORT – Mike McRedmond who was inducted into the Hall of Fame. He joins a long list of iconic sportspeople who have achieved at the highest level of their code
.

Since 2007, Manawatu Legends of Sport has acknowledged and honoured the region’s greatest sporting achievers and those who have dedicated many years of service to sport.

In 2019 two new inductees joined the impressive list of people who’ve had significant impact on our sporting heritage. – Great work Mike!

We know that behind these achievements are countless hours of training and conditioning, hard work and determination.
