A massive congrats to Glenn Kirk who has broken the Masters 3 Men’s course record, 4 seconds faster than Steve Stannard’s previous record of 0:15:52 set in February 2016 – Well done!!
Also Deb Cuff who shaved a second off her previous record – Great work!

Be sure to come along next Wednesday for week 2

Bike Manawatu Track Meeting Results–Tuesday 12 February 2019

Please find attached the race results from Tuesday nights meeting. Great to see “Mr Miracle” Michael Richmond at track, as well as some incredible riding in our A Grade section. Ben Irvines time in the 1 lap standing start was only 0.5 seconds off Angus Claasen’s record, Ewan Cousins continues to impress not far out from the NZAGTN, & both Matty Mullins & Andy Miller showed power & speed to improve on their 200 flying & 1 lap standing start times. The Craw boys & Wilson Hannon showed exceptional teamwork as scratch riders to catch & overtake the field & the best result by far was Mervyn Clarke holding off a field of fast finishing B Grade riders to win the long handicap race, congratulations Mervyn

Thanks again to everyone who rode or volunteered out there on Saturday, we really appreciate it. Without our volunteers we simply could not run our races.

Also a big thank you to the NZ Racing Board for helping us purchase our new timing system we were able to use for the first time – how cool was it being able to post results so fast – If you or someone you know is keen to train up and learn how to operate our timing, please do let us know.
