Route: Park Road, Botanical Road, Gillespies Line, Kairanga-Bunnythorpe Road, Lockwood Road, Hoihere Road, Main Drain Road, Sansons Banks Road, Waitohi Road, Penny Road, SH3, Stewart Road, Awahuri Road, Kawa Kawa Road, Coffee at one of Feilding’s Cafés, Aorangi Street, Campbell Road, Ruffs Road, Kairanga-Bunnythorpe Road, Roberts Line, Milson Line.
Average speed 27kph, depending on numbers and weather.
Route may vary slightly depending on conditions and there are options to do a shorter ride if required.

Vietnam would probably not be most cyclist’s first choice as an overseas cycling destination. There is no doubt that Vietnam is a “third world” country but it is also a delightful place to visit and cycle in.
Although my experience of Vietnam is limited to only a small part of the northern highlands I would like to think that what I experienced would be typical of most of Vietnam…
