MANAWATU MASTERS CYCLING CLUB – CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
SUNDAY 28 FEBRUARY 2010 – INDIVIDUAL TIME TRIAL 20KM
The first MMCC championship event of 2010 on Sunday 28 February 2010 was the ITT 20km on the Ashhurst – Pohangina Valley Road out and back course. Entries from club members were only 17, 2 women and 15 men, which was disappointing. We were joined by 5 non-members and nearly 60 Manawatu Schools cyclists competing in a Teams (2-up) TT 20km on the same course, both organisations helped run the joint event which went very smoothly. The event started promptly at 9AM in good conditions, slightly overcast with light northerly wind, MMCC members went first with all competitors finished before 11AM when we visited the Domain Cafe to announce the results.
