Great work to our WCNI AGTN 2020 Team

Great work to our WCNI AGTN 2020 Team

After a great few days in Invercargill, the 2020 AGTN came to an end last night with the Under 15’s Point Races and the U17 Madison. The WCNI riders rounded out a successful meet with some cracking rides from Kylah Gunn, Ta and Harrison Craw in the Points Races, and Jack Overweel and Riley Tunnicliffe in the Madison; but not quite enough for another WCNI trip to the podium.

Thanks to everyone for all the support – you can see from the results that what you do works! A special thanks to the financial and kit sponsors (RITA, #CentralBikeStudio, The Tank Guy, Beehive), the Rider’s clubs Cycling Wanganui, BikeManawatu and WCNI as a whole.

The final tally from the meet was:
3x Gold Medals (Jack Overweel – U17B 500 TT, Harrison Craw – U15B Derby, Ta & Harrison Craw – U15B 500m Team Sprint).
2x Silver Medal (Jack Overweel – U17B Match Sprint, Ta Craw U15B 500m TT).
1x Bronze Medal (Harrison Craw U15B 500m TT).
1x National and NZ Champs Record (Ta & Harrison Craw – U15B 500m Team Sprint).
…heaps xPBs (all riders – Riley Tunnicliffe, Wilson Hannon, Lochlan Foote, Jack Overweel, Georgia Simpson, Kylah Gunn, Ta Craw, Harrison Craw).
