‘Build the Path’ is a community-led campaign for a shared bike & walk path connecting Manawatu-Tararua, alongside the new connector highway being planned between Ashhurst & Woodville.
The path will create real recreation, economic, health and transport benefits for our region.
We think we deserve it, but currently the NZ Transport Agency are not committed to building it. So starting a campaign – this survey is stage one!
Please have your say and help us get the path built by completing the short survey, and sharing it with others! Lots of others 🙂

Did you miss out on our last Bike Manawatu uniform order?
Dont worry, we are about to place our final order for the 2018 Year and we will have them ready by early Feb 2019 for you.
We are coming up to a very busy holiday season and we aim to ensure our members are as prepared as possible when it comes to your cycling.
If you are thinking about attending WCNI or National events to name a few you will find you may need to wear your Club Uniform.
Dont get caught short without your kit, avoid any issues and place your order now. We’d hate to not have your required size or style of uniform within our small stock within the Bike Manawatu Office.
Have a think about it or share in banter between your peers over the next week and we’ll ensure we are prepared.

All orders must be received by 30th November 2018 – Delivery of uniforms will be within the first week of February 2019

Back by popular demand, our Manfeild Criterium Series is back – Every Tuesday Night held at Manfeild Park (Tuesday 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th November 2018)
Doors will open at 5.30pm, First Race begins at 6.00pm
Members $5 p/night OR $15 for the series
Non Members $10 p/night OR $35 for the series
Come along and join in, all welcome.
Get in early, and avoid the end of year rush and have your licence all ready for next year so you can cruise through the holiday season without having to worry.
Please be aware that if you purchase a 2019 licence before 31st December, this is the age category you will compete in for the remainder of the 2018 calendar year.
*2018 licences are valid until 31st December unless a 2019 licence is issued prior, which will then make the 2018 licence no longer valid.

The policy provides licensed riders cover for any damage to a third party property or persons that they are found legally liable for by their actions whilst riding, this is extended to cover whilst competing in races. How great is that!

BM Race 7 – Essex Cup in Pohangina – Saturday 15th December.

– Timing / Finish Judge
– Traffic Set Up

– Sag Wagon Driver
