Change of day for Long Endurance Ride

Change of day for Long Endurance Ride

In an ongoing effort to squeeze as much out of life as possible there has been a Day Change for the Long Ride scheduled for Sunday.
The weather on Sunday is looking well below average so the ride has been brought forward to Tomorrow, Saturday 7th September, leaving Memorial park at 7.00am.
This gives our riding community 2 awesome opportunities to choose from on the same day although this is nothing new to us. – Endurance Rides Article Here

Bike Manawatu encompasses a wide range of riders of both Genders, capabilities and ages. Everyone has their own “Why” they choose to ride a bike.
So while the Long gamers are extending their riding capacity, at the Velodrome on the same day starting at 10.00 we have Wonder Women on Wheels.
This is a fantastic opportunity instigated by Neriah Kaihe-Woolston, backed by her parents ,and with full support of the track committee and Bike Manawatu Board.
This is an introductory day to Track cycling to new and more experienced track cyclist to promote Females on Bikes and the profile of the sport.
What an awesome day it’s going to be, The weather is clearing for us, lets go.

Sunday Morning at Colyton the Manawatu Schools Cycling are running their last Road Race for the year in their build up to National Schools Championships at the end of term.

With Nationals based in Colyton, Feilding area again this is our Young Cyclists best opportunity to shine.
