GREAT NEWS! The track has been relined!
The fresh paint makes the track more positive and safer to ride on. All handicap marks have also been numbered on the track thanks, to Manawatu District Council for funding this project- much appreciated.
Rider of the day award for the first meeting went to Zoe Croton for positive winning rides. Last Sunday John Stewart picked Dylan Simpson for his positive style of riding and being prepared to try to break away from strong riders.
The best race of the day last Sunday was the A grade 1 lap scratch race between Liam Brown, Cam Stewart, Carne Groube and Mitchell Kinghorn. It was a real sizzler of a ride by Liam Brown, who went straight to the front out of the blocks and held the others out! His official time of 30.9 seconds was probably the third fastest 1 lap recorded on the Feilding track- well done Liam!
The standard of safe riding has been very good, so to all riders keep it up!
