Welcome to 2026

Summer has possibly come and left us. Our Track team has certainly been hampered by the changing conditions this season and the CHB tour was more of a winter tour than Mid summer event.

Last week we launched our Road Calendar for the next 5 months. Details here and on our website Calendar.

In there are events to cater for everyone with the focus being on Quality events more than cut and paste. There has been a mindful approach to linking up with other clubs and reigniting the interclub competition.

Interclub courses will be reasonable flat to allow participation across the board, then the reintroduction of WCNI championship will have a course with a bit more elevation.

Other clubs in the Lower north have been spoken to and we are hopeful they will travel and in turn we can get our own groups together and travel as well.

Later in the year we have a date for Cyclocross and will be running a few gravel events. The Joe Allen is set to make a welcome return as well.

We are light on the ground with volunteers, as a club this year is a big push to put a stake in the ground but we need support. If you are able to help out, please get in touch by email or message Tim directly.

Looking forward to A1 Loops Graded Road Race on Tuesday 24th Feb: https://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=419333
