It was a beautiful summer evening yesterday for the 17 riders and our amazing volunteers at Kairanga.
Firstly, a huge THANK YOU to our volunteers Sam and Laura Richardson for running the timing, Tim Lloyd for traffic management, and Alastair Cadzow, David Peel and Rachel O’Dea!

Liam took almost 20sec off the previous record for 14 year old boys set by Robert Stannard in 2012. Liam’s time was a blistering 17:37.6! Rory is now the course record holder for 10 year old boys with a fantastic time of just 24:42!It was great to see riders of all ages turn up last night. Special mention also to George Skinner who was fastest overall, Aylish Underwood who was flying on the 24km course, and new rider Jakob Abernethy who did amazing on the long course as well.
