Another glorious day made for great racing at Halcombe on the last day of Autumn.
We have been so fortunate with the weather so far this year, fingers crossed for the winter months.
Great job by all riders today.
Bike Manawatu’s ongoing push to give riders of all ages the opportunity to race was at the forefront today with E grade doing the 13km distance.
Mum’s and Dads joining their kids in what is sometimes a new racing experience for them. This year at the Novice Tour we will give the opportunity for year 5 and 6 riders to do the Hillclimb and the ITT.
Big thanks the our BM crew, headed by Janina. Sam and Andy Richardson on Registration and Timing. Andy did a great job as the Sag Wagon. The ever present Ross and Rachel O’Dea for marshalling. Thanks to Tim as always for setting everything up and packing it down. Huge thanks also to our amazing sponsors – we couldn’t have done today’s event without you!
