Thank you to everyone who came out to Glen Oroua for today’s road race, it was another stunning morning for riding. Massive thanks to our volunteers: Jo Coxon for running the Timing, John from Wellington on the Stop/Go paddle on the bridge, Tim Lloyd for traffic management, and Marty Baker for Sag Wagon.
It was fantastic that Brendan Bateup from Wellington RCC and Brendan Clarke from Kapiti travelled up for our event. We also applaud all the incredible families who took the opportunity and rode with their young kids, and Lizzie and Hannah Peel for looking after and encouraging other riders.

Back in 1968 this cup was won by F. Martley on a course from Tremaine Ave to Rongotea. The event has since been moved to Feilding onto a 32.2km course starting on Makino Rd.
