Students Riding For Hope – Gumboot Friday – I AM HOPE 2022
After such success last year a small group of Manawatu students once again set their sights high and headed back to Johnston Park on Friday 4th November and rode for 12hours from 7am to7pm to raise money for a great charity – I AM HOPE.
20% of young youth in New Zealand suffer from some form of mental health issues such as depression and anxiety, and one in five Kiwis will experience depression by the age of 18. Gumboot Friday gives the ability for young kiwis to access free and fast access to professional counselling.
These students are an inspiration and as a club we are very proud of them.
