Event day is Sunday 4th May 2014. This event has been very well received over the last couple of years and many that have participated are looking forward to having another crack at it this year. For 2014 we are riding the original direction from 2012 (Whakatane to Mt Maunganui), there is still a 100km and 50km option and the 50 Km Secondary School Challenge option. Additional to this we have also added the option to enter the 100km ride as a team entry (work/social/gym/bikeshop/bike club). And to help the out of towners with transport logistics we have once again organised bus shuttles. There is advertising in the NZ Road Cyclist Magazine and flyers are also at many bike shops. Once again there are some awesome Cannondale bikes up for grabs at prizegiving. There will be one road bike and one non-road bike
