After 2 stages of the Canberra tour there are some exciting results coming through.
In the under 17 girls our very own Kate Stewart on general classification is in 15th place +4:17 on the leader.
Stage one was an individual time trial and Kate was placed 21st in that 1 min 39 behind the winner of the stage. In the second stage Kate was 14th over the line.
In the under 17 boys we have Mark Findlay representing us. He was placed 17th in the time trial and went on to win the second stage. Looking at the GC he stands at 7th after 2 stages with +:54 . In the stage 2 race there were 20 other boys that all finished with the same time as Mark so it will be a real tussle in the 3rd stage.
Rachel Southee is competing in the under 19 women grade. She was placed 28th after stage 1 and gained 34th place in stage 2. GC results are unavailable at this stage for this grade.
Miguel Dib and Angus Findlay are both competing in the under 19 men. Miguel gained 20th place in the time trial and Angus was 23rd. Stage 2 saw Miguel finish in 16th place and Angus in 46th resulting in them being 15th and 42nd respectively on GC.
Miguel Dib was also able to gain 3 points in the KOM and is placed 8th.
Stage 3 is a road race which will be raced on Sunday followed by stage 4 a criterium.
