The SGM is an important milestone for Bike Manawatu as its purpose is to adopt a new constitution that complies with the Incorporated Societies Act 2022, and to authorise the Bike Manawatu Board to apply for re-registration under the Act. Re-registering under the new Act keeps Bike Manawatu safe, legal, and able to operate. It will ensure that Bike Manawatu’s structure, rules, and officers meet the updated standards, our club keeps its legal status, and is able to apply for and receive funding.

Please take the time to review the proposed constitution and email any feedback, questions or suggestions for improvement to secretary@bikemanawatu.co.nz by Friday 5^th December.
