Well known Garry Buys has been at the forefront of people buying and repairing bikes for many years. However his encouragement to all cyclists to learn riding etiquette, organise social rides and sponsor events has been of real value to the Manawatu cycling community for which we are appreciative and thank Garry and his Bike Barn Team. Your continued support for our valued sponsors is appreciated.

Hotel Coachman and Leonie and Brendon Hapeta have forever been huge on community support throughout the Manawatu Region. Bike Manawatu and Schools cycling have been the beneficiary their valued support in so many different ways from event sponsorship through to the employment of local NZ rising star cyclists at the Hotel. It is no wonder Hotel Coachman won the Hospitality Award for the Manawatu Standard Conference and Event venue of the year in 2016.The photo represents only some of their team. Thank you, Leonie and Brendon.

Rob Ryan is a valued club member who year after year gives back to the sport he loves. He like all cyclists develop many friendships while riding a bike along the way. Rob has organised many charity rides for groups leaving people with some fantastic memories and stories to keep forever. We pay tribute to Rob and his team at Palmfeild Motors and congratulate them for winning New Zealands No 1 Mazda Dealer of the year.

Steve and Catherine Stannard and their cycling family have been an amazing contributor to the club and in general the sport across NZ and Australia. From event management to riding, racing and coaching to all things cycling at a higher level we appreciate their knowledge and support. Can I encourage all cycling groups to pop into their intimate Cyclista Cafe on George street to experience great coffee and the feel of sitting in a small “Tour de France” Cycling village type cafe with memorabilia. It is our way of saying thank you.
